We have two teaching/interaction times set aside: one is the Third Annual University Conference from Jan 5 to Jan 7 held at the National University of Rwanda. We hope to bring in international students from Uganda, Congo, and Burundi. The 2008 conference was very successful. The theme this time is "The Nehemiah Project -- building your church and your life". The second teaching time is Jan 13 to 15 when we hope to meet in small groups with local people to share our faith and talents.

We have two side trips planned. The first trip is to Bujumbura to visit the churches and encourage the saints. We have a good friend named Pastor Jeremy who lives in Bujumbura ~ and Immaculate's family too! The second trip to Goma, Congo. We will travel by ferry boat from Bukavu across Lake Kivu to Goma; then return to Butare via Kigali. We may hold our 2010 University Conference in Goma. Check out the map with these locations circled.

What you will be doing in Africa depends upon your interest, motivation, skill, and commitment to Christ. You might be interacting with pastors or university students or mamas. You might be sharing your faith in a variety of venues: at church, with children, in meetings, and at orphanages. Whatever your activity, you will be extending the Kingdom of God.
