Jesus is Lord over sickness and disease. When He walked the earth, Jesus showed compassion toward the people. He commanded a paralyzed man to stand up, take his mat, and walk. The man was healed immediately and walked. There was a woman who had a constant bleeding. Jesus touched her body and her bleeding stopped at once. A blind beggar received his sight and a deaf man his hearing. Once ten men with a dreaded skin disease shouted to Jesus, “Master, have mercy on us”. He healed all ten, but only one returned to thank Him. Wherever Jesus walked with His disciples, He did good works. All the people crowded around him to seek His touch. All of these healings were signs to the people that Jesus was exactly who He claimed to be: the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
