Come & See Africa is planning a Summer mission (June / July 2008) and a Winter Mission (December 2008 / January 2009).

The Summer Mission team is scheduled to leave San Francisco on June 24^th and return on July 11^th. We will be supporting students at the university, working out of the Christian Fellowship House. We are planning to sponsor a "Worship Leader Conference". Mission Accomplished !! See the pictures of this mission.

The Winter Mission team will leave San Francisco on December 29^th, 2008, and return on January 16^th, 2009. Volunteers on this mission will be supporting "Inter-University Great Lakes Regional Christian Conference -- 2009". The theme for this conference is "The Nehemiah Project"~ Other activities may include building a community garden, helping construct the new fellowship house, & leading seminars for pastors and mamas

You are invited to JOIN US or SUPPORT US. Here are some of the activities that we have done is the past. If you do accompany us on a 2009 Mission, you may have the opportunity to participate in one of these.

The cost to participants is a $1000 mission fee plus the cost of your airline ticket. The mission fee covers all of your expenses from the moment you arrive in Africa until the moment you depart. The fee covers all meals, guest houses, visas, and local transportation. Round trip air fares vary in price. In the winter, recent fares have been around $2000. Summer fares have been around $2200. In addition to these costs, most people take along a few hundred dollars for personal items and mementos to take home.
